To plant hope, restore dignity and build trust among families and vulnerable children, Youths and communities that have been disadvantaged and affected by conflict, poverty, abuse, violence, disasters and promote individual growth and resilience.

Goal

The Goal of the organization is to offer humanitarian services which include; delivery of a comprehensive social transformation programmes for young people, and disadvantaged communities; provision of mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) through counseling services, empowerment and exposure to life-changing innovations; promote respect for human rights and offer relief to poverty-stricken and disaster-affected communities, internally displaced persons, returnees, vulnerable and marginalized communities in South Sudan and beyond the frontiers as circumstances and opportunities permit.

History of Smile Charity South Sudan(SCSS)

SCSS was founded in 2023 by Christian youths who were deeply moved by the suffering of forcibly displaced Sudanese refugees, returnees, and vulnerable South Sudanese communities affected by war, violence, and natural disasters. Initially focused on emergency humanitarian aid, the organization has since expanded into multi-sectoral and integrated programs addressing long-term recovery, resilience, and community empowerment. SCSS works closely with national and international partners to design and implement community-driven solutions that enhance well-being and resilience.
